Approximately 70% of our adapted solutions go to export.
In the beginning of Famatech, of course we took advantage of having a partially French ownership and also having a sales office in France, in order to obtain a highly relevant market share in this country. And we have gained acknowledgement by being serious in offering quality products with a high technical character and by respecting the assumed delivery terms. Then, we have started exporting to other neighbour countries to France and now, our collaboration potential is constantly expanding to other countries in the European Union and outside it’s borders.
We have all experienced the “cold-calls” stage… Sometimes it works, other times – most of them – it doesn’t. And at this point, it becomes obvious that human contact is essential in the process of obtaining a potential foreign customer’s trust. By taking part in external fairs and events, not only we obtain this, but we also take the pulse of the markets we are already present on, we follow the evolution of each of them and we decide which way we guide our efforts. We even discover other high potential markets for our technical adapted solutions: PVC/silicone protection bellows; Folded bellows; Flexible ringed bellows; cuffs and compensators; Bulk charging/discharging systems; Big-Bag loading/unloading stations and specialized Waterjet cutting services.




An experienced entrepreneur once said: “I take part in this fair this year to make sure I will have projects in 3 years from now”. We have seen, however, that sometimes it takes even more time for the results to come, but they certainly do. And, when they do come, you might not even be able to identify the source, but they are definitely most welcomed. Of course, these things don’t happen over night and without a sustained effort from every point of view. First of all, choosing the fair or the event with the highest relevance for the company’s main activity field, is extremely important. Then, taking part in it implies thorough organizing concerning equipping the booth, logistics, samples and, most importantly, the persons representing the company. We consider researching information about the other exhibitors and the collaboration potential with them a key activity in order to obtain maximum benefits from the event. Because, like we all know, the costs implied by engaging in such activities are quite high.
Famatech has been present this spring in Global Industrie, Lyon, France (participation in the national Romanian pavilion organized by FEPA-CM), SIFER - Lille, France – railway industry, Business Industries Saint-Nazaire, France – naval industry, Feindef, Madrid, Spain – defense and in a series of events in Romania.
